Obituary for John Charles Campbell
Of Elora, passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. Beloved husband of Janet Campbell. Father to Martin Campbell, Roy Campbell(Lorraine) and step-father to Steven Campbell(Melissa Chu), Doug Campbell(predeceased) and Kathy Thauberger(Patrick). Grandfather and great grandfather to many.
Thanks to the nurses at Groves with special thanks to Charmaine.
John was born in Summerside, P.E.I. and was a member of the R.C.M.P. and then Agriculture Canada before his retirement in 1992 when he moved to Elora.
A Memorial visitation/reception will be held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus from 1:00-4:00pm on Monday, December 18th, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to The Lung Association or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. (519)843-3100 www.grahamgiddyfh.com
