Obituary for Joan Pearl Olesen (Parker)
Passed away peacefully on May 5, 2021 in Waterloo, Ontario. Joan is predeceased by her beloved husband, Niels. She will be dearly missed by her children Diana Martinoni and Keith Olesen, grandchildren Courtney & Amanda Martinoni and Cameron & Malcolm Olesen, great grandchildren Alexis Larocque and Nolan Ritchie.
Joan was born in Windsor Mills, Quebec. She met Niels in Montreal, Quebec in 1960 while working as a cashier at the restaurant in the Holiday Inn. They were married on December 26, 1960. Joan and Niels moved with their family to Fergus in May 1975.
She was an avid golfer and very proudly won numerous tournaments.
Cremation has taken place. No Funeral Services will be held at this time.
