I remember Joan when she worked at Eaton’s. Little did I know then that her lovely Mother and my Dad would get together years later after their spouses had died. I never tasted Joan’s cooking but our family enjoyed many delicious meals made by her Mother Helen so I believe that Joan would have been a great cook as well. My Dad enjoyed Joan and George’s kindness. My deepest condolences to Joan’s family.

Dear George and family: I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family. My sister Annette told me that Joan had passed. I always had fond memories of our get-togethers. The famous "pig" roast Wingham really stands out in my mind. Joan was an excellent cook and fun to be around. I cherish those memories. She will be missed. Carmen R.

Remembering Joannie for her love of life and her giving heart. She always had a smile on her face and a welcoming voice. Her family, friends and fellow church members loved her very much. My heart goes out to her family.

My sincere condolences to George and the family. Joan and I spent many mornings on the bus riding to work together. She was a good friend and I always enjoyed being in her company. She is in a better place now.
