Obituary for Jennifer Lynn Williams
March 17, 1974 – February 17th, 2016
Beloved daughter of Sylvia and Ed. Sister to Brian, Kathleen and Conner and step-daughter of Laurie. Dear partner of John and friend to Helga, Jayne, John and Jack. Loving Mom to her 4-legged babies Linus, Dexter, Denver, Chief, Milo, Monty and Pedro. Jenn was a dedicated ER nurse at Groves Memorial Hospital for the last 10 years. Everyone that knew her, knew her love of animals. When she first moved to Fergus, she started rescuing an assortment of animals. If they were mistreated or needed a home, Jenn was there to take them in. No matter when she came home, she was always greeted by her 2 little dogs, Ernie and Ella. Jenn was a Sea Cadet as a youth and often spent her summers working either at the Royal Military College in Kingston or at Comox in B.C., she worked her way through the ranks and became Lieutenant (N) Naval. Jenn also participated in a cross Atlantic race and was on a Russian Tall Ship, only one of three Canadians selected to go. Recently Jenn and John enjoyed numerous scuba diving trips around the world. Visitation for Jenn will take place on Wednesday, February, 24th, 2016 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus, her funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm.
