Peacefully and courageously after a brief illness, with her loving family at her side at Guelph General Hospital on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 80 yrs. Predeceased by her loving husband, Donal. Dear mother of Marilyn (Keith), Donna (John), Michael and Sandra (Rob). Cherished grandmother of Emily, Jack, Allie, Evan, Molly, Erin, Mandy (Sacha) and Melissa (Brad) as well as great grandmother of Brooke. Also remembered by her special grand-dog Bailey. Survived by her dear sister Helen. Predeceased by her caring brothers John and Lloyd and sister Isabel, as well as her cherished companion Ed. Jean will be fondly remembered by her companion Frank and will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, other family members and her many friends. Jean’s family would like to thank Groves Memorial Hospital and the caring ICU team at Guelph General Hospital. Visitation will take place at The Graham A, Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Monday, November 30th, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm. A Funeral service will take place at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 760 St. David St N, Fergus on Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 at 11:00 am. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
