It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Janet Marlene Copeland (nee Evans) on August 28 2018. She is survived by her niece Karen Weadick-Kent (Roger), nephews Greg Weadick (Barb) and Pat Evans (Heather) plus many great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Allan Copeland, Jean (Alastair McLean), Gordon (Cathy) Copeland and Doris McDonald (Edgar). Janet will be remembered by her cousin Nancy Nelson and her sister and brothers. Janet was predeceased by her husband Dale, sister Linda (Vander Valk), parents Boyd Evans and Jean (Jaffrey) as well as her step mother Irene (Evans).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00am at the Graham A Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home beginning at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s memory to the Diabetes Association or Groves Memorial Hospital.
