Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James White can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for James Bernard White

James Bernard White
Passed away peacefully after a short illness, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on May 12, 2018 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his wife Minetta (Hergott) in 2001 and his daughter Mary in 1992. Beloved father of Joseph and James (Cindy). Survived by his brother in law Maurice Hergott (Ruby). James was born in Fergus and farmed in Living Springs all his life. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, Ontario, on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm, with Parish Prayers at 7:15pm. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 760 St. David St. North in Fergus, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment at St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elora. Memorial donations can be directed to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
