Absent from the body, present with the Lord. James passed away at the Wellington Terrace in Fergus, on October 2nd, 2016 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Ruth Marian (Kelly) for 62 years. Much loved father of Blair and his wife Sonja and Kent and his wife Heather. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Shanin (Tim), Amy (Elijah), Sarah (Jordan), Naomi (Alex), James, Laura, Hannah, Matthew, Irene and Kate and his great grandchildren Wynne, Hendrick and England. Predeceased by his brother Jack and sisters Violet and Irene. Funeral Service for James will be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at 3:00pm. Reception to be held at the Funeral Home following the Service.
