Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Monday April 13th surrounded by his family at the age of 70. He will be deeply missed by his partner of many years Glenna Wilson and by his children Sheila Trask(David Coccia), Valerie Askew(Steven) and Gregory Roth as well as Glenna’s son Gary Palmer(Ashley O’Brien). Also mourning their loss will be his grandchildren Jesse Trask, Jamie Trask, Connor Reid, Avery Reid, Eden Roth, Shaelyn Roth and Michael Coccia. Siblings are Barb Alsop, Bob Breese, Shirley Veldman, Linda, Gordon Breese, John Breese, Donald Breese, Ken Breese, Wayne Breese, Dennis Breese, Larry Breese and Sherri Buckley. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Dorothy Breese as well as his foster parents Menno and Ella Roth who cared for him from the age of 5 years old along with his foster brother David Roth. Jim had several passions in life like helping people, and was happiest when he was DJ’ing in his community or talking about fast cars. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Thursday April 16th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral will be held at The Alma United Church on Friday April 17th at 1pm followed by interment at the Elora Cemetery and then a reception being held at the Alma Community Hall.
