WILKINSON, Jake (John)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jake on January 7, 2020 after complications following a stroke.
Jake will be sadly missed by his wife Connie (nee: Smeltzer), survived by his children; Janet and her husband Shawn Redmond, Trevor and his wife Heather Wilkinson and step-son Branden Miller. Grandfather of Connor and Kayla Redmond and Hilary, Alanna, Natalie and Daniella Wilkinson. Survived by his siblings; Shirley Suggitt, Dave Wilkinson, Paul Wilkinson, Donna Stirling and Verna Wright. Son of the late Victor and Annie Wilkinson. Predeceased by brothers Boyd and Lloyd and sister-in-law Phyllis Eurig. Son-in-law of Jack and the late Edna Smeltzer. Brother-in-law of Jeff Smeltzer. Jake will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Jake’s Life will be held at the Elora Community Centre, 29 David St West, Elora on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 with visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Words of Remembrance beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Donation’s in Jake’s memory may be made to the Jr. Curlers- Elora Curling Club or to a charity of choice. Arrangements are entrusted with the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home. www.grahamgiddyfh.com
