Obituary for J. Allan "Al" MORDEN

Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Kitchener on Monday December 22, 2003, aged 76 years. Al was a former employee of the University of Guelph and before retirement he was an architectural draftsman for the experimental farms in Ottawa for 16 years. Loved and missed by his wife Marguerite (nee Culp) of 55 years. Dad will be missed by Linda Fader and her husband John of Innerkip, Larry Morden and his wife Penny of Stittsville, Brenda McSorley of Mineville, Nova Scotia and Diane Morden of Ottawa. Dear Papa of Ken, Kathy, Jason, Jodi, Sarah, Brian, Alyssa and Sarah and Jessica; great grandfather of Brianna and MacKenzie. Survived by his sister Marion Rush (Bernell) and his brother Grant Morden (Wilma). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Ruby Morden, Baby Morden in infancy, his brothers Everett, Roy and Lloyd and his sisters Lorraine and Joanne. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Sunday December 28th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday December 29th, 2003 at 11:00 am from St. James Anglican Church, Queen St., Fergus. Rev. Stephen Witcher officiating. Interment in Belsyde Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, St. James Anglican Church or the K-W Health Centre Dialysis Unit as expressions of sympathy.
