Passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Elora on Tuesday March 30, 2004. Irene Bride (Fairweather) in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Don Bride. Loving mother of Donna and her husband Lloyd Jamieson of Arthur, Lorraine Bride of Elora and Bill of Guelph. Dearest grandmother of Amy and Bryan. Dear sister of Rev. Don Fairweather of Fergus and Ralph Fairweather and his wife Lorraine of Salem. Irene is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family members and her brother-in-law Brian Polderman. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy Polderman (1991) and her parents Morley and Gertrude Fairweather. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church, Elora, on Wednesday March 31st, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 1st, 2004 at 2:00 PM from the Knox Presbyterian Church, Elora. Rev. Kees Vandermey officiating. Interment in Elora Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church or the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Building Fund as expressions of sympathy.
