With great sadness, the family of Ida Veale announces her death after a brief illness, on Friday June 25, 2004, at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus. Ida loved and honoured the family members who predeceased her; her loving husband Wilson Veale, her parents and sister and her grandson Adam Veale. Ida will always be loved by her family; Susan and Robert Fenwick, their 3 children, Alicia, Nancy and Andrew and their 4 grandchildren, Katherine, Rebecca, Serena and Matraca; Donald and Barbara Veale and their 2 sons Alexander and Scott and Janet and Oivind Naess and their 2 sons Jan Erik and Magnus. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora on Tuesday June 29th, 2004 from 7-9 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday June 30th, 2004 from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Elora. A memorial service will be held at the church at 2:00 PM, followed by interment in Elora Cemetery and a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. Donations in Ida's memory may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church, Hospice Wellington or the Groves Memorial Hospital Building Fund as expressions of sympathy.
