Passed away at after a brief struggle with cancer at Groves Memorial Hospital, on February 11, 2010 in his 77th year. Howard will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Margaret (Meyers). Lovingly remembered by his children Bill (Heather), Linda Cheyney (Don), Donna Kellendonk (Jamie) and Howard. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jesse, Jillia and Caitlyn Cheyne, Abbey & Olivia Kellendonk and J.J. Smith. Survived by his brothers Earl & Stewart Smith and sisters Helen Trask and Shirley Weber. Memorial Service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church Street East in Elora, on Saturday, February 13th 2010 at 3:00pm, with visitation from 1:00pm. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held in the spring.
