Gone home to be with her Lord with her family by her side on Wed March 3rd, 2010 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Hendrika Thalen (Scholing) of Fergus formerly of Listowel in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Jacob (1983). Loving mother of Hank (Betty) of Moorefield, Andrew (Edith) of Listowel, Marg (Hank) VanDonkersgoed of Gorrie, Jake (Linda) of Chilliwack, B.C., Alex (Henny) of Fergus, Herb (Jeanny) of Everson, Washington, Morris (Mary) of Abbortsford B.C., Rita (Garry) Hovius of Chilliwack B.C., Dinah (Bert) Hutten of Fergus, and Phyllis (John) Nymeyer of Lethbridge Alberta. Loving Gramma/Oma of 53 grandchildren and 113 great grandchildren. Hendrika is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers and a number of nieces and nephews and other family members. Pre-deceased by 4 brothers and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive their friends at the Canadian Reformed Church, 610 Belsyde Ave East, Fergus, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday March 5th A private family burial service will be held in Listowel on Saturday Mar 6th, followed by a funeral service the same day (Sat Mar 6th) at 1:00 P.M. at the Canadian Reformed Church, 610 Belsyde Ave. E.
