Obituary for Helen Myrtle "Rowe" HOGARTH

Peacefully, at the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home in Elora, Ontario on Sunday February 22, 2004, Helen passed away in her 86th year. Beloved mother of Mary and Ken Stricker of Mississauga, Isabel and Bill Neeb of Brantford, Sharon Gregory and her husband Dan Padden of Caledon Village, Agnes and Vince Cushing of Beamsville and daughter-in-law Wendie Hogarth of Fergus. Loving grandmother of Jane and Dave Weeden, George and Tracie Neeb, Susan and Gordon O'Reilly, Kyle and Bryce Stricker, Elizabeth and Steve Elsdon, Chad and Cathy Gregory, Laura Gregory, Sarah Hogarth, Doug Hogarth, Lisa Hogarth and Curtis Cushing. Dearly remembered by great grandchildren Derek and Daniel Weeden, Jacob, Jonah and Elijah Neeb, Andrew and Mary O'Reilly, Crawford Stricker and Gavin Gregory. Sister of Lucille Sutherland (Fergus), Jean Campbell (Vancouver), and Mary Tuck Buchar (Belwood). Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband J. Douglas (1989), son John Douglas (2001), son-in-law William Gregory(1987), parents Harry and Myrtle Rowe, and siblings Alva Deans, Gladys Gilchrist and Lyle Rowe. Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Tuesday February 24th, from 7-9 PM and Wednesday February 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Melville United Church, corner of St. Andrew and Tower Sts., Fergus on Thursday February 26th, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Stephen Huntley officiating. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. Memorial donations to Wellington Terrace Nursing Home, Groves Memorial Community Hospital or Melville United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
