God has picked a rose to-day. Our precious Mother has gone to be with the Angels and Saints; joined her husband Harold (2013), her parents George and Gertrude Damper and her brother Howard Cooper. After a lengthy struggle, she passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus. She loved her three children, Beryl, Bev & Redge unconditionally and they in turn loved her fiercely. Mom will be missed by Beryl & Ron Simpson; Beverly & Dave Jamieson, Redge & Val Hanna and grandchildren: Debra & Tim; David & Thanh; Gary & Debbie, Rhonda & Sateesh (Simpson); Brad & Carolann; Kevin & Sandi, Paul & Chris (Steele); Jason, Craig & Jee Yun, Michael & Jordan (Hanna); Nicole & Jamie, Melanie & Bruce & Luke (Jamieson) and great grandchildren: Chloe & Zahra, Justin & Erin, Adam & Brittany & Lindsey (Simpson); Kyle & Taylor, Braeden & Laci (Steele) & Taylor Therrien; Shae & Christina, Kayleigh (Hanna); Lauren & Kharesa, Nikoma, Naomi & Noelle (Jamieson). Being the thoughtful generous person she was, we have honored Mom's request: her eyes have been donated so that others will have their vision restored. The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Wellington Terrace especially her caregivers on Cedar Gorge, and to Dr. Stickney, your kindness will not be forgotten. Your tender care of Mom was so much appreciated by her and her family. A funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 171 Queen St. E., Fergus, Ontario on August 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Donations to the Wellington Terrace or a charity of your choice as an expression of sympathy would be appreciated by the family.
