It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Helen Ross Hammond at her home in Hamilton on Friday, November 5, 2004 in her 76th year. Dear sister of David (Doreen) of Elora and Margaret Ann (Frank) of Ottawa. Dear sister-in-law of Harvey Metcalfe of Fergus. Dear aunt of Blake (Glenna) Metcalfe of Dundas and Stephen Metcalf of Fergus. Predeceased by her parents Elias (Scotty) (1965) and Margaret (2004) and sister Jean Metcalfe (1984). Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church Street, Elora as requested by Helen.
