Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gwendolyn McDougall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

MCDOUGALL - Gwendolyn (nee Alton) Peacefully at Wellington Terrace with family by her side on Sunday January 7 ,2018. Gwen McDougall in her 88th year of R R # 5 Rockwood (Speedside).
Predeceased by her husband Ross (1997). Loving mother of Larry of Guelph, Ken (Dianne) of Victoria BC, the late Judy (1969), Barbara Valentine of Fergus, Shirley (Bruce) Bolger of Ariss, and Bruce of Rockwood. Sister-in-law of Gloria Neifer. Predeceased by her brother John (Jack) Alton. Also predeceased by Ross' brothers and sisters, Hilda (Jim) Hill, Ella (Adrian) Broderick, Reta (Robert) Lees, Donald (Gertie)McDougall and Robert McDougall. Loved Grandmother to Sandy (Aimee)McDougall, Chris (Amy)McDougall, Derek (Sandra) Bolger, Angela Osmond-Bolger, Greg (Sarah)Cantlon, Sheryl Cantlon, Mary (Mike) Mioska, Jeremy McDougall, Taylor and Morgan Valentine. Loved Great Grandmother to Sarah and Garrett McDougall, Madeline, Alexis, Caleb and Daniel McDougall, Emma Mioska, Adelaide and Lila McDougall, Carly and Paige Cantlon, Jake Beauchamp, Matthew, Dawson and Nathan Bolger, Kyla and Alyssa Osmond. One Great Great Grandson Declan Godden. Visitation for Gwen will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Friday January 12th from 1-3pm followed by a funeral service being held in the funeral home chapel at 3pm. Interment to occur in the spring at Everton Cemetery. The family would like to give a huge thank you for the loving care and support Mom received during the last 4 months at Wellington Terrace. Also thank you to the PSW care she received when she was still in her home. ln lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gwen's memory to the Wellington Terrace, Groves Hospital or Alzheimer's Society. www.grahamgiddyfh.com
