Passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in his 71st year. Gunter beloved husband of Paula (nee Bell) of Belwood. Loving father of Naomi and her partner Teresa Phillis of Parry Sound, Donna and her husband Vito Romagno of Mississauga and Bryan Crisp and his wife Marion of Oakville. Dear Opa of Zack and Lisa Noel. Survived by his brother Helmut and his wife Gudrun and family all of Germany. Gunter was a member of the Ontario Swimming Coaches Association and was instrumental in the early development of many Olympic swimmers. A private family service and interment service will be held in Cherry Valley. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pine Meadows Community Hall, Belwood on Friday December 3rd, 2004 at 11:00 A.M.
