He will be sadly missed by his wife Wilda (nee Chilton), son Darle and his wife Julie, daughter Daye and her husband Glenn, son Brian, and son Keith and his wife Janet as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Brother of Olena McCallum, Lorne Widmeyer, Thelma Greisson, and Eva Dickson. Sade was well known as a baseball and fastball player, an umpire in baseball, fastball and softball and an umpire in chief of the P.W.S.A. for many years. Sade was instrumental in the prerequisite of an exam before receiving an umpire's card in the P.W.S.A. Sade and his wife, Wilde made up slides and conducted umpire clinics throughout Ontario. They traveled to Italy with the Kitchener Kieswetters, to Australia with the Milverton ladies team and toured throughout the mid U.S. with a Milverton team, and various other locations with local teams and tournaments. Sade was well noted for helping to form and promote leagues in baseball and fastball in all the communities he lived. They sold the billiard room in Clifford which they had ran for six years, and bought the Fergus Bowling Lanes in December 1952. After 33 years, they sold the bowling lanes in 1985.
