Condolence: So sorry to hear of the passing of Grace. She was a light in our lives and a true friend to us when we needed one. Due to illness in our lives we lost touch with Grace, however we always had her in our hearts, minds and prayers. We will always remember the wonder work she did to help others. Such a wonderful woman. Kisses to you Grace and may your light shine brightly.

Condolence: So glad we had the honor of knowing Grace. She truly did want to help others as we soon found that out. Had it not been for her introducing us to some hidden truths, we would still be involved with a cult. We can't thank you enough, Grace as to our new life and how happy we are. We owe that all to you. So glad you came into our lives and so glad to see you will be staying:)
God bless you and your family. Also, to your extended families around the world. To think we never have to worry about J & J Mitchel stalking us or you at the end of our lanes. How we are all at peace now. God bless you, Grace
Love Ron and Marlene

Condolence: I met Grace in person in 1995. I don't remember what she said but she made me laugh. We were standing in a rather large room but I knew it when she came in and I think maybe the lights got a little brighter. She was an on-line friend over 20 years. A great influence and a model of what something better looks like.

Condolence: I remember the first time I met Grace in person. It was at Blue Mountain Christian Retreat, my first time there, and I was to give a talk. I was so scared but Grace befriended me right away and helped me feel calmer. She was one of a kind, loved by all who knew her. I will miss her stories about her family but most of all I will miss the " Grace fixes " I used to get from her. The main thing I am dispointed in is that she said she would try to wait for me so we could wave at each other on our way up! I know she is happy in Heaven now. Rest in peace my dear friend. Your memory will be loved and cherished. Thank you Susan for always being there for her.

Condolence: Grace, you were such a vital person, full of life and humor that helped you deal with leaving the cult and made you very good at helping others with the same difficult transition.

You will be missed.

Condolence: Grace was a kind and gentle person as well as a great supporter of Silentlambs. She would often send cards of encouragement and donations to support the work and asking me to keep up the fight. Her life is proof you can leave JWs and make a real life, finding peace, and discovering the joy of helping others in a positive way from such a negative past. Where ever she is now I am sure she is still cheering us on and lending a hand; it's one of those times when you feel discouraged or down. It is that moment when you have a calm come over you and you know it is going to be ok that you will know she is there and somehow making it better. Grace Gough will be missed and I wish her peace and contentment in whatever the existence beyond this life holds.

Condolence: Dearest Grace
If value of a life were to be measured by the number of lives we touched while here, your "count" would be astronomical! Your "value", inestimable! You had such a heart for those trapped and enslaved in cults, in particular the Witnesses, such a burden for the "lost" and "seeking" of this world. You loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind...and your neighbour as yourself. The Greatest Commandment. I can hear His words to you: "Well done good & faithful servant...Enter into the joy of your Lord."

To Grace's Family & Friends: My deepest sympathies in your loss. She will be sorely missed. (I met Grace through my SIL, Barbara Waud, and I am SO thankful for that.) Grace touched my life too, her kindness, thoughtfulness, and Christian witness. Her wonderful sense of humour. She was a force to be reckoned with when it came to her faith! I admired her so for the good work she was so dedicated to. I am so sad that she is gone from us, yet excited about her entrance into Glory! Thoughts & prayers for all of you who loved her so.

Julie H.
