Peacefully at Groves Memorial Community H ospital, Fergus on Friday March 4, 2005. Gordon Thomas in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Payne) Loving father of Gwen and her husband Berney Sytsma of Fergus and Michael and his wife Milagros of Toronto. Devout granddad of Daniel, Kevin and Norma of Victoria, BC, John, AnnMarie and her husband Kevin Goodfellow. Cherished great granddad of Kaitlyn, Brooke and Erika Goodfellow and Willem Sytsma. Dear brother of Theresa Reynolds of Mississauga and Paul and his wife Sandra of Barrie. Predeceased by his siblings, Charles, Joseph, Dorothy, Frances, James, William, Mary Jerome, Eugene and Margaret. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus on Monday March 7th 2005 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday March 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Fergus on Wednesday March 9th at 11:00 am with Father Freitas officiating. Followed be Interment at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Streetsville at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be directed to the St. Joseph's building fund (Fergus) or Groves Memorial Community Hospital Building Fund.
