Obituary for Gordon Alexander BLYTH

Suddenly at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Sunday July 20, 2003, aged 71 years. Loved & missed by his wife Jessie of 50 years. Dad will be missed by Debbie Atkinson and her husband Bruce of R.R. #1 Conn and Dara Blyth and Tim Hibbs of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Audrey Driscoll of Chatham, Joyce Gamble and her husband Rob of Essex, Marlene Padfield of Hamilton; his brother, Jim Blyth and his wife Oriole of Mount Forest; sisters-in-law, Fern Saunders, Bernice Nielson and her husband Don and his brother-in-law Jim Andrews. Proud Grandpa of Brenda, Rob, Katie and Gord Atkinson. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers-in-law Dan Driscoll and Hugh Saunders and his nephew Scott Gamble. Gordon was a longtime and highly respected member of the Guelph & District Real Estate Board and a very proud and faithful member of the Royal City Ambassadors of Guelph. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Monday July 21st from 7-9 PM and on Tuesday July 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from the Bethel Baptist Church, Fergus on Wednesday July 23rd at 1:00 PM. Interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. Reception to follow in Bethel Fellowship Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Monck Baptist Church or the Groves Memorial Hospital Re-development Fund as expressions of sympathy.
