BLACK, Gordon, NoblePassed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by those he loved on May 19th, 2011 in his 76th year. Gord will be forever missed by his wife Glenna (Wilkin) and his daughter Debbie Black. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Jean Jackson (Ben) and Isabel Wickhorst and his brothers Max, Hugh, Bert (Marg), Jim (Peggy) and Walter. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-laws Ron (Inez) Wilkin and Charlie Quarrie (Dorothy) and sister-in-laws Bette (George) Maidment, Hazel (Stan) McLean, Olive Black and Arnetta Black. Gord is survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, many close friends and past & present students. Predeceased by his brothers Bud & Bill, brother-in-laws Ron & Leon and sister-in-laws Florence & Marie. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, May 22nd from 7-9pm and Monday, May 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Fergus, on Tuesday, May 24th at 2:00pm.
