It is great sadness that we announce that Glen passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace in Elora, on Saturday June 18, 2005 in his 83rd year. Cherished husband of Margaret (nee Skeoch) for 53 years and much loved and admired father of Patricia and her husband Jacques and Ted and his wife Anne. Glen was deeply devoted to and dearly loved by his grandchildren Kyle, Tori and Nina. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Alice and Doreen and their families. Glen was a genuine, caring friend to all he met and will be remembered with love and affection by many. The family will receive their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South,from 1:00pm Friday until time of the Memorial Service at 2:00pm Friday June 24, 2005. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances to the Fergus-Elora Rotary Foundation directed to the Groves Hospital Building Fund or a charity of choice would appreciated by the family, cards available at the funeral home.
