The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gladys Tritter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My condolences to Sue, Pete, Graham, Bowen, Nicole and Amelia for your deep loss.

Gladys was a beautiful woman and she lived a wonderful life. I think fondly of all the great things that she did with her hands - tending her beloved garden, sewing, knitting and quilting for family and community, and lovingly making delicious family meals. I cherish the precious moments that she spent writing letters to us, chatting with us and sharing bits of her and Al's past, and eagerly listening to our stories.

Every time I visited her she would be so proud to show me the photos of her grandchildren, Graham, Nicole and Mia, and the cards that they sent her. She loved you all and she knew that she was loved. She created a beautiful life for all, including herself.

I am relieved that she passed peacefully, with no pain and surrounded by Sue and Bowen and supported by those in the home who respected her and were very fond of her.
