With family at his side, Garry passed away at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on April 18, 2021, at the age of 64. Garry will be missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Cathy. Loving father to Bryan (Veronica) and Dylan (Ashley) and proud Grandfather to Levi. Survived by his father Bob and his brothers Tim (Becky), Dan and Rob. Son-in-law of Theresa (Andre) and brother-in-law of Tony (Janine) and Donna (David). Garry will be lovingly remembered by nieces/nephews Curtis, Reed, Spencer (Stephanie), Sarah, Erin, Arain (Heather), Ryan (Jess), Cody, Kyle, Shyanne, Leann and Buck and great nieces/nephews Corbin, Harlow, Dallas and Dalton. Predeceased by his mother Jean, father-in-law Vincent, nephew Matthew and sister-in-law Bonnie.

A private, invitation only service will be held on Thursday April 29, 2021 at 3:00PM. The service will be available to watch via Livestream, with access directly through the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home website.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Garry’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Centre Wellington Minor Hockey or Get In Touch For Hutch, and are greatly appreciated by Garry’s family.
