Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on April 19, 2017. Frank was born on August 18, 1938 in Elek, Hungary to the late Michael and Veronika Strifler. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Shirley (Mino), daughter Valerie Ann (Freund), granddaughters Holland and Livi Freund, sister Veronika (Wallner) and Joe Wallner of Kitchener, sister Frances (Wolf) and Carl Wolf of Brantford, brothers-in-law Michael Mino and Paulette Jolley of Victoria B.C., Larry Mino and Maureen of Listowel. He will also be remembered by nieces and nephews, along with friends and extended family. “You were a fighter to the end. We love you papa.” Funeral Mass for Frank will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 760 St. David St. North in Fergus, on Monday, April 24th, 2017 at 11:00am, followed by a reception in the Church hall. Cremation to follow with private family interment at Marymount Catholic Cemetery in Guelph.
