Well Frannie, after a few days of reflecting, I realize how much we had in common: The love of our children, grandchildren, and the love of the sport of softball (baseball). The joy of watching our kids play - the joy of watching all kids play. Although we both loved umpiring kids games, no one ever called me 'GRANDMA'. What a joy to be recognized in this manner. I'm sure all the kids will have great memories of you and the game that you loved. 'BATTER UP and PLAY ON'

Fabulous picture of a fabulously fun person! I remember Fran's smiles and laughter very fondly. My mum, Mavis McEwan, will miss her dear friend tremendously. Sincerest condolences to Walt, Julie, Jody and families from the McEwan clan.
