Following a brief illness on Tuesday January 27, 2004, at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Florence Shain (nee Hanlon) in her 82nd year of Elora, Formerly of Rexdale. Beloved wife of John Shain. Loving mother of John of Mississauga, Michael and his wife Dale of Little Current, and Mary Kay Gibbons and her husband Chris of Fergus. Dearest grandmother of James, John-Paul, Lara, Arthur, Kathleen, Sarah, Mary-Ellen, Theresa, Margaret, James and Sean. Florence is lovingly survived by her sister Madeline Trainor (and her late husband Joseph), Pauline Campbell and her husband Robert and brother William Hanlon and his wife Kay and sister in law Mary Hanlon. Florence is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family members. Pre-deceased by brother Gerard Hanlon and parents William and Sarah Hanlon. Burial will be held in the family plot in St. Patrick Cemetery in Schomberg.
