Evelyn Mary Thiessen passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on June 9, 2019 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of the late James Thiessen. Loving mother of Mike & his wife Holly of South Bruce Peninsula ( Wiarton, ON ). Dear Grandmother of Kyle Strutzenberger, Jessica Martin (Thiessen), Jamie Hussey (Thiessen) and Jody Thiessen. At Evelyn’s request cremation has taken place and interment will be at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a late date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Homes-Waterloo Chapel, 617 King St. N. Waterloo (across from Home Depot). Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
