I am shocked and so saddened to hear of Eva's passing. I've been a co-worker at Highland Manor till this pass Nov when I moved back home to Newfoundland and loved working with Eva. We never worked the same shift often but every shift I did work we would always pass in the parking lot and have our little chat and she would always tell me how her day went. Her caring ways and sweet smile will surly be missed by all the residents at Highland manor as her face was the first that was seen by a lot of them as they made their way to the dining room for their morning meds and breakfast. As a co-worker of Eva's, I can only imagine the pain everyone is feeling right now. It's times like this, I wish I were closer. To Eva's family...I send my deepest condolences to you all...if there's any sense to this pain at all....is knowing she's now reunited with her darling Husband and Son...who was her whole life for sure. God Bless you all....and Eva.....you rest easy my Friend....and it's now time for you be on the receiving end of the best care there is. You will be missed :( Roxanne Bardon.
