Obituary for Emmerich Ferber

Emmerich in his 80th year, passed away after a short illness at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus. Predeceased by his loving wife Anna. Will always be remembered by his son Konrad and wife Lori of Elora. Predeceased by his daughters Karin and Dorin. Greatly missed by his grandchildren Karen, Laurin, Cortney, Stephan, Garett, Alexander, Alysha, Samantha, Victoria and twins Antonio and Annabella and great grandchildren Megan and Mason. Emmerich was born in Hungary in 1930, met Anna in Germany and they married in 1952. They emigrated to Canada with their three children in 1957. Emmerich spent his entire working life in the automotive industry, first at BMW in Germany and later at Budd in Canada, Emmerich retired early in the mid 90’s as a result of a stroke. Soccer was his passion and he enjoyed playing it most of his life, in his later years tennis became his new passion. Many thanks to the entire staff of the Wellington Terrace for their kindness, thoughtfullness and professionalism. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Township of Centre Wellington – childrens sports. Cremation has taken place as per Emmerich’s wishes.
