On Saturday, October 16, 2010 Elizabeth Jeanne Wallace passed away suddenly yet peacefully at her home in Toronto at the age of 58. Beloved daughter of the late Dr. Cecil Wallace (1998) and Jeanne (nee Cunningham) Wallace (1986) of Elora. Loved and cherished sister of Margrie Wallace, William (Valerie) Wallace and Robert (Joanne) Wallace. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Maris, Eliot, Eve, Drew, Reid and Margot, who she loved and adored.The family will receive friends at the Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church in Elora, on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 7- 9 p.m. A funeral to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s the Evangelist Anglican Church, at the corner of Smith and Henderson Streets in Elora. Private interment at the family plot in the Elora Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or Groves Memorial Community Hospital (Paliative Care Unit), would be greatly appreciated by the family.
