It is with great sadness the family of Elizabeth “Betty” Hutton announces her passing on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Wellington Terrace in her 88th year. Betty was an 18-year-old clippie on the S.M.T when she met the bus driver who became the love of her life, Leslie Hutton. They went on to spend 66 wonderful years together as husband and wife. Betty was the loving mother to Leslie (Susan) Hutton, Jacqui Martin (Rob Mitchell), Reg (Lori-Ann) Hutton, Eric (the late Tricia) Hutton and Ellen (Chad) Sorbara. A doting Grandma to Seana (Chris) Dawson, Adam Warburton (Betty McEvoy and her daughter Lucey), Amber (Jesse) Allen, Samantha Hutton, Kevin Warburton, Brandon (Doriana) Hutton, Heather (Thomas) Greenley, Kelsey (Michael) Fraser, Zachary, Jordyn and McKenna Sorbara. Cherished Great-Grandma of Benjamin, Elliott, Eloise, Owen, Henry, Hannah, Carson, Sebastian and Archer. Predeceased by her cherished infant daughter Carol Elliot Hutton, her amazing and loving mother Jessie McLaughlin and her son-in-law Patrick Warburton.
Betty will be deeply missed by her brother-in-law William Hutton as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins here in Canada and back “hame” in Scotland.
