1916-2004 It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Effie May Osburn (nee Marshall) in her 89th year on October 23, 2004 at Guelph General Hospital following a short illness. Predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Anderson (1974). Loving mother to Janis and her husband David McCrae of Guelph, and Rick Anderson and his wife Gwen of Fitzroy Harbour. Beloved grandmother to Chris (Cathy) McCrae of Rockwood, Karen McCrae of Ariss, Heather Anderson of London, Craig and Ian Anderson of Fitzroy Harbour and cherished great-grandmother to Lauren McCrae. Survived by her brother Ivan Marshall and sisters Beatrice Ziegler and Marie Brox, all of Kitchener. Predeceased by her brother Ken Marshall (1999). Sister-in-law of Dorothy and Bill Richardson, Robina Anderson and Tom Millar, all of Fergus. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home 280 St. David Street, Fergus, on Monday, October 25, 2004 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26 at Graham Giddy Funeral Home, followed by interment at Belsyde Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Fergus Curling Club following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully appreciated by our family to the Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
