Obituary for Edward William Franklin Liverance

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we tell you of the sudden passing of Edward Liverance on February 22nd, 2023, just shy of his 63rd birthday. Beloved husband of Patricia (née Cece). Loving father of David (Amy Ellis) and Ryan (Meagan Fenske). He was loved by his grandchildren. Cherished son of Charles and Vivian Liverance of Wiarton. Survived by his sister Yvonne and brother Doug. Predeceased by his sister Laurie and infant brother David. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was born in Wiarton, where he grew up playing hockey and baseball. He trained at Conestoga College as a Survey Technician, and went on to become a Survey Crew Chief in his career. Ed made his home in Belwood and spent many summers at his trailer at Kenorus Campground in Port Elgin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus from 11 AM – 1 PM. Funeral Mass will follow at 2 PM at St. Joseph Parish in Fergus. Following Mass, family and friends are invited back to the funeral home for a time of fellowship and refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada, and are greatly appreciated by his family.
