Obituary for Edith M. PARKINSON

Following a brief illness, on Thursday, July 1, 2004 Edith Parkinson (nee Boyce) went to be with the Lord. Edith of R.R.#1 Belwood in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Bert Parkinson. Loving mother of Ralph and his wife Susan of Hamilton, Joyce and her husband Alan Mosure of Belwood, Barb and her husband Flemming Giltoft of R.R.#1 Belwood, Bev and her husband David Harris of Hamilton, Dawn and her husband Bill Elgie of Lions Head. Edith is lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ernest Boyce and his wife Hilda of Rawdon, Quebec. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Predeceased by her daughter Betty Maude and sister Eileen Tinkler. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Friday, July 2, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place at Bethel Baptist Church, 675 Victoria Terrace, Fergus on Saturday, July 3,2004 at 11AM. Rev. Fred Goliath officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church as expressions of sympathy.
