Obituary for Earl Delbert Wood
Earl Delbert Wood, age 98, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
Lovingly remembered by his wife Audrey (Lindsay) Wood and his children Vicky (Ron) Kaufman, John (Beth) Wood, Debbie (Ron) Carter and his grandchildren, Alison (Ryan), Matt, Megan (Dave), Tara (Thomas), Natalie (Dan), Jessica (Jamie) and Taylor.
Papa was a loving great-grandfather to Brooklyn, Zach, Sage, Arlo and Nathan. Survived by his sister in law Maureen (Skip) Wood. Earl was predeceased by his parents Mary (Noble) and John James (Jack) Wood, his brothers Ross, Clarence ( Lucy ), Ken ( Joan ), Murray Wood and sisters, Cora ( Les ) (Porterfield) Breutigan, Minnie Buchanan ( Alvin ), Inez Simpson ( Ralph), Verna (Reg/ Gord) (Bitton) Schnarr, Helen (Bruce ) Speiran and Bernice Woods ( Bill ).
Earl resided in Listowel and Mitchell for many years before moving to St. Jacobs in 2010. Earl was a generous hardworking man with a great sense of humour. He loved his family and took great pride in his home. He will be sorely missed.

Also, to the Grand River/Freeport palliative care team, we appreciate your support/care of Earl during his last few weeks of life.
Cremation has already taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service as per Earl's request.
