The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Earl Rogers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Earl Wesley  Rogers
After a courageous battle with cancer, Earl Wesley Rogers in his 61st year passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington with family by his side.
Cherished husband to Debbie (nee:Benson) and loving dad to Shannon, Robbie & Sarah
Dear son of the late Jack & Lois Rogers.
Little brother to Barbara Rogers & Karen Perry
Best brother-in-law to Ross Perry & Tracy Benson
More than a son-in-law to Dave Benson(Joanne Borghese) & Judy (Bill Drexler) Benson
He leaves behind nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Earl was born in Fergus, however, spent most of his life in Ponsonby. Earl was devoted to his family and friends, always willing to lend a hand. Earl loved sports, however, his passion was baseball and he played for many years. Earl was always up for a game of anything and was known for his competitive spirit. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered.
Deb & the family would like to thank everyone at Hospice Wellington and Dr. Chris Lund for their exceptional care and guidance during Earl’s stay with them.
We would also like to thank the many family and friends for their continued support and love, with special thanks to Deb’s work family at Colley Insurance.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elora Legion, 110 Metcalfe Street, Elora on Wednesday December 21st, 2016 from 6-9pm. Words of Remembrance will begin at 7:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated. Cards available at the funeral home.
