Obituary for E. Jean Skeoch (Summerfield)
On Saturday, November 28, 2015, Jean passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace in her 88th year.
Beloved wife to the late Bruce Skeoch for more than 60 years. Loving mother to Betty (Lynn) Black of Fergus, Robert Skeoch of Fergus, Gord (Merry-Anne) Skeoch of Alliston, John Skeoch (Michele Vandenberghe) of London, and Barb (Jim) Oosterbaan of Calgary. Jean leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister in-laws Margaret Woods and Lorraine Summerfield as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Predeceased by her brothers Hugh Summerfield, Jack (Mona) Summerfield, brothers in-law Jim (Ruth) Skeoch, Glen Woods, daughter in-law Cheryl Waldrum and her parents Wilfred and Ethleen Summerfield.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Jean with her family during visitation at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Marion Loree officiating.
Interment to follow at Belsyde Cemetery.
