Peacefully on April 18th, 2016 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his parents Elgin and Elva Armstrong. Lovingly remembered by his nieces Constance (Cecil-deceased), Marjorie (Peter) Langlios and Carol (Steve) Wok, as well as his nephews Wayne (Pat), Russel (Sheila), Gary and Randy (Brenda) Armstrong. Also remembered by his nieces Joan (Carvell), Ester, Willma (Larry) and Dorothy. Predeceased by his brother Bruce Armstrong and nephews Ivan (Carol), Larry (Dorothy), Laverne (Louella) and Brian. Grant will be missed by his good friends Yvonne and Earl Browning and Frank and Karen Guthrie. Grant was a well-known and well-loved Chiropractor in Fergus since 1951. The family would like to thank Heritage River, Dr. M. Westendorp and the staff at Groves Memorial Hospital for their care. Visitation will be held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral service will be held at Melville United Church, 300 St. Andrew St W on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 am.
