Doug passed away peacefully with his caring family by his side at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus on June 18th, 2007 in his 59th year. Much loved father of Aimee and her husband Rob Young of Fergus, Kelly and her fiancé Andrew Gee of Hornings Mills and Scott and his friend Tegan McQueen of Calgary ,Alberta; and the mother of their children Debbie Daniel of St. Thomas. Beloved and playful Grandpa to Emily and Tyler Young. Brother of Ken Nairn (Sharon) of Orangeville, Joan Wilson (Robert) of Belwood and Kathy Nussey ( Rick) of Grand Valley. Doug will be missed by his Aunt Irene Nairn of Guelph, niece Jackie Major ( Frank), Neil Wilson(Christy), Jeremy and Mark Nussey. Survived by many other nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Ansley Nairn (1988) and Gladys Nairn (Winters) (1984).The family will receive friends at the Graham A. Giddy 280 St. David St. S. in Fergus on Wednesday, June 20th, 2007 from 12- 3 and 7 – 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday June 21, at 11:00 AM.
