Obituary for Doris Norma Matthews
MATTHEWS, Doris (nee: Tuck)
Passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Wellington Terrace in Elora. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Lyle (2017).
We know Lyle has been waiting for her; as well as parents, Jack & Jessie Tuck; siblings & spouses, Mary (Clare) Bell, Reta (Russell) Little; Russell Tuck and Bert Tuck.
Doris was a generous, fun loving soul and will be sadly missed by her siblings, Jim Tuck, Lloyd (Judy) Tuck, Jeannette Witt, Marilyn (Jim) MacQuarrie, Joan Snyder (Craig Alles).
She will be missed by her sister in law, Lois Dobbie and her family. Aunt to many nieces & nephews; special mention to Barb Robinson, Larry Dobbie, Mark Witt (God-son), Mike MacQuarrie (God-son), Paul Little, Scott Witt, Shawn MacQuarrie and Janice Tuck-Shannon.
The family of Doris shall not forget your visits and loving care of all staff members during her “Terrace” years.
Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service taking place in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:30 a.m. Reception and lunch to follow at the Fergus Legion, Br #275, 500 Blair Street, Fergus.
