Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donna Swain can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Donna Swain on Tuesday June 5, 2018 in her 82nd year with her family at her side at the Chatham/Kent Hospice. Loving wife of Larry Swain for 55 years (deceased April 2nd, 2010). Loving mother of Debbie (Art) Dunn, Tracy Swain (deceased) and Randy (Kelly) Swain. Proud grandmother of Brent and Krystle Dunn, Megan Swain and Jeff (Steph) Swain. Sister of Winnifred (Jack deceased) Herbert, Jim (Lois) Jubenville (both deceased), Gerald Jubenville, Gary (Carolyn) Jubenville, Brenda (Gary) Sales and Donalda (Denis) Dorion. Donna was born and raised in Chatham and moved to the Kitchener/Waterloo/Elora area where she raised her family. She enjoyed camping, baking and gardening and spending time with family and friends. After her husband’s passing she moved back to her roots in Chatham to be closer to her siblings. Funeral Service for Donna will be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church Street East in Elora, Ontario, on Friday, June 8th, 2018 at 1:30pm, with visitation from 11:30am.
