A loving family man with a big heart, Don passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, on September 24th, 2018 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Sharon (Gray) for 50 years. Loving father to Barb (Geoff Ash), Kim (Jay Peters), Laura (Hank Zeitz) and Don Watson Jr. (Alisha Parkins). Devoted Grandpa and Poppa to DJ, Stephanie, Sarah, Nicholas, Melody, Carolyn, Kali, Fiona, Darien and Olivia. Dear brother to Phyllis Wilson. Family includes John & Lillian, Beatrice & Jim, Doris & Ron and Dave & Sharon. Brother-in-law to Keith & Jean Gray, Dave & Sharon Gray, Carl & Marge Gray, Neil and BJ Gray and their families. Predeceased by his parents Pat, Mae and Helen Watson and in-laws Jim and Myrtle Gray. Don will be sadly missed by many wonderful friends, neighbours, business associates and customers. Lifetime owner – operator of Watson’s Farm Equipment. Lifetime member of the community of Ariss and Ponsonby. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home – Fergus Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Thursday, September 27th, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at 11:00am Interment at the Elora Cemetery.
