Dennis William (Bill) Sykes was born in Huddersfield, UK. Bill leaves behind his step-daughter Susan Spiegel, his grandson Cameron Spiegel and his niece Pamela Fanchamps and family residing in the UK. Bill was an accomplished musician when he immigrated to Canada. He continued his music career here along with running an event venue, and he was an accomplished salesman in the printing industry. His passions included sailing on Georgian Bay, big bands and jazz, composing on his keyboard along with playing the sax he also played the clarinet and flute. He loved watching Formula One and was a great chef. He met Ingrid Spiegel sharing their love of sailing, they had over 30 years of adventures together, visiting family in Europe, RV travel across Canada and the US, running an antique business in Kleinburg, along with a passion for real estate and renovating numerous homes along the way. Bill will be dearly missed. He was a loving father, always there for his step-daughter Susan and Papa to her son Cameron. We will miss your music, your British humour and your wonderful meals. We hope you are with mom on Sea Shanty, catching a good wind and reefing in the main up on the Bay.
