Passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 2nd at Groves Memorial Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer. Dave was the beloved husband of JoAnne for 44 years. Loving dad to Darrin (Jacqueline) and son-in-law Son Nguyen. Doting and devoted Grandpa to Noah, Jack, Olivia, Nathan and Nolan. Also survived by his sisters Valerie (John) Philpott and Jean Price of England as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his cherished and much loved daughter Dawn Webley-Nguyen as well as his parents, Fred and Mary Webley, and his in-laws Jack and Audrey Vyles. Dave was born in England and immigrated to Canada in 1969. He spent a number of years in the car business before moving into a career in welding and fabrication making almost anything out of metal. He will be remembered by many who knew him for his organ playing, a passion that started in his youth and continued into adulthood. Visitation will be held Friday March 8th from 6-8pm at Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street in Elora, and on Saturday at Riverside Community Church, 79 Speedvale Avenue East in Guelph at 11am with funeral service to follow at 12pm.
