Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Wilma(nee:Maximchuck) and was the loving father to William(Dawn)Elgie and predeceased by son George(survived by daughter-in-law Pat)Elgie and was also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation for David will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Friday May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9pm and the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday May 13th at 11am with burial at Belsyde Cemetery.
